<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a manufacturing of a thermoplastic, transparent and melt processable co-extruded film, which is less than 250μm in thickness and less than 1 × 10<SP>-4</SP>nm/nm in modulus of birefringence. <P>SOLUTION: The co-extruded film comprises a single internal core layer of transparent polymer of less than 250μm in thickness and two strippable exterior polymer layers. The internal core layer makes up a proportion of less than 40% of total film thickness, small enough to attain the modulus of birefringence not more than 1 × 10<SP>-4</SP>nm/nm, and exhibits a sufficient low melt flow index. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
