<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a serial multiplex inverter where a plurality of single-phase cell inverters are connected in series on an output side by providing a smoothing capacitor between a forward converter that converts AC into DC and an inverter that converts DC into AC. <P>SOLUTION: The DC input current Idcu-Idcw of each single-phase inverter is calculated, and the current value is used to estimate variation ΔVdcu-ΔVdcw of the DC input voltage of each single-phase inverter for correcting output voltage command Vu<SP>*</SP>-Vw<SP>*</SP>of each phase of the inverter. The electric power supplied to a load from the smoothing capacitor by the single-phase inverter fluctuates by twice the AC output frequency. So, the input current and voltage of DC is easy to fluctuate much, and reducing the capacitance of the smoothing capacitor makes fluctuation of the DC voltage further large for easier occurrence of fluctuation in the torque of a dynamo electric motor. By estimating this without a DC voltage detecting means for effectively correcting a voltage command, the torque fluctuation is suppressed, resulting in a smaller power converter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
