<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag which is hardly damaged and smoothly inflated even when a stress concentration is generated when the airbag is deployed and inflated. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag 10 has a gas flow-in unit 11 which is inflatable by allowing inflation gas to flow in so as to separate two walls 11a and 11b from each other, and a non-flow-in unit 19 not to allow the inflation gas to flow by coupling the two walls 11a and 11b. The non-flow-in unit 19 has an outer peripheral edge 22 which is disposed on the peripheral edge of the gas flow-in unit 11 to constitute the outer peripheral edge of the airbag 10. The outer peripheral edge 22 has a recessed inner corner 23 to receive tension in the expanding direction when the airbag 10 is inflated. An inner corner 23 is formed of a weaving structure which easily extends from the other portion 21 in the outer peripheral edge 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
