CIRCULAR FLUORESCENT LAMP BASE, CIRCULAR FLUORESCENT LAMP, AND LIGHTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular fluorescent lamp and a circular fluorescent lamp base of which luminous efficiency in the sealing apparatus is greatly improved in the case of the drop of the coldest temperature of the glass bulb.

SOLUTION: Metal caps of the circular fluorescent lamp are installed so as to bridge the both end parts of the lamp main body composed of a circular glass bulb having a long stem and a short stem with different heights from each other in the inner space of which, a prescribed quantity of mercury and inert gas are sealed, and provided with base pins arranged so as to protrude toward surface side. A heat shielding wall for preventing the heat of the short stem side from transmitting to the long stem side is installed in the metal cap.
