<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a walk guidance method quite easily at a low cost by making large-scale facilities and construction unnecessary and to enhance versatility and utility by making a special walking stick unnecessary. <P>SOLUTION: When a walking road R is unseen, a pair of, or more than a pair of speakers 2p and 2q arranged on both sides of the walking road R are installed on the walking road R, a guiding sound from a monaural sound source 3 is emitted from the pair of speakers 2p and 2q, and a polarity of an output signal Sq to be given to the speaker 2q is reversed to the polarity of an output signal Sp to be given to the other speaker 2p.
