<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized constant-potential electrolytic type gas sensor having a novel constitution capable of setting a plurality of required gas detecting electrodes to a mutually sufficient liquidtight state. <P>SOLUTION: The constant-potential electrolytic type gas sensor is equipped with a casing having an electrolyte chamber, which has a gas permeation port at one end thereof and housing an electrolyte by sealing the gas permeation port by a gas permeable hydrophobic diaphram, formed therein, and an acting electrode is arranged in opposed relation to the gas permeable hydrophobic diaphram and a counter electrode is arranged in a liquidtight state with respect to the acting electrode in the casing. Both of the acting electrode and the counter electrode have plated-shaped electrode bodies having fluid flow passages formed thereto and stacked in a state held by interposing an electrolyte holding member between the electrode body related to the acting electrode and the electrode body related to the counter electrode to be constituted as one electrode structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
