<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bat made of a fiber reinforced plastic having sufficient strength from the point of view of practical use, exhibiting a good repulsion performance and demonstrating a good feeling of striking. <P>SOLUTION: A matrix resin material is obtained by mixing an epoxy resin having a viscosity of 100cps and a 3%-by-mass carbon nanofiber having an average fiber diameter of 150nm and a thermal conductivity at 15°C of 1500W/(mK) as a fine carbon fiber 9. A PAN carbon fiber as a reinforcing fiber is prepared to provide a prepreg sheet having a fiber level (Vf) of 55%. The fiber reinforced plastic bat is formed by cutting the prepreg sheet for molding a bat when necessary, winding it around a tube for internal pressure molding in layers, arranging the tube in the cavity of the die shaped into a bat and then injecting compressed air into the tube and heating and hardening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
