PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the inoperative state of an information collection terminal. SOLUTION: The game system is provided with the information collection terminal for collecting operation information from game machines in a game hall and is provided with a game place external management device for monitoring the working state of the information collection terminal outside the game hall. The information collection terminal is provided with a working information generation means for generating working information on the basis of the operation information, a terminal working amount calculation means for calculating the working amount of the present equipment as a terminal working amount while gathering the operation information, and a terminal working amount transmission means for transmitting the terminal working amount established in relation to the collection end of the operation information to the game hall external management device. The game hall external management device is provided with a working evaluation means for evaluating the working state of the information collection terminal on the basis of the terminal working amount collected from the information collection terminal.
