PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wired broadcast call system, achieving a significant cost reduction without using a private facility switching system, with improved convenience and ease to handle, while taking aged persons who live alone into consideration, and capable of enhancing the versatility (multi-functionality) and possibilities of service content. SOLUTION: The wired broadcast call system is provided with computing apparatuses 2a, 2b, 2c and so on each having an intercom function Fi capable of talking with at least a microphone Mc and a speaker Sp in at least a portion of or entire households Ha, Hb, Hc and so on having been subscribed to an existing wired broadcast telephone system 1o in a predetermined area A. These computing apparatuses 2a, 2b, 2c and so on are connected to a wired broadcast circuit 3 of the existing wired broadcast telephone system 1o, with a continuous connection scheme. A broadcast station server 4 connected to the Internet N is implemented in a wired broadcast station B of the existing wired broadcast telephone system 1o, and this broadcast station server 4 is connected to the wired broadcast circuit 3.
