PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable mobile communication information terminal wherein information can be grasped even in a closed state, a low profile is attained while preventing the drawbacks caused by the low profile cases, and the visibility of displayed information is improved by upsizing the information display screen while taking the carrying convenience into account. SOLUTION: In the mobile communication information terminal provided with a first case having an information display screen, a second case having operation switches, and a hinge whereby the cases are opened / closed and movable, the information display screen is provided with: a first display area opposed to the operation switches in the closed state; and a second display area adjacent to the first display area and exposed from the second case in the closed state without opposing to the operation switches.
