PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyolefin vapor phase polymerization process using a vapor phase polymerization reactor and having such an excellent characteristic as to enable an unreacted monomer to be recovered at low cost and in high efficiency. SOLUTION: The polyolefin vapor phase polymerization process comprises the 1st step of condensing in a condenser the unreacted monomer in a mixed gas discharged from the vapor phase polymerization reactor and freed of concomitant polyolefin particles to recover the unreacted monomer, the 2nd step of feeding the resultant mixed gas containing a non-condensed unreacted monomer at the 1st step into a gas separator having gas separation membranes to separate the mixed gas into an unreacted monomer-rich mixed gas permeable through the membranes and a mixed gas impermeable through the membranes, and the 3rd step of circulating the unreacted monomer-rich mixed gas separated in the 2nd step to the 1st step.
