The position of a camera (1) is rotatably about a rotation center (3) at two independently settable spatial angles. The separation of the camera position from the rotation center depends o the spatial angles, so that the camera is movable on a three-dimensional surface in space. The virtual three-dimensional scene is arranged at the rotation center. By rotating a trackball (12), the two spatial angles of the camera model are adjustable so that the view in the virtual three-dimensional scene varies accordingly. An Independent claim is included for a method of displaying virtual three-dimensional scenes.
