Disclosed is a compressor comprising a cylinder (31) having opening portions at both sides thereof for forming a compression space therein; a rotational shaft installed in the compression space of the cylinder and to which a compression member for compressing fluid by rotation is engaged; a pair of bearing plates (32, 33) including covering portions (32a, 33a) for covering the opening portions of the cylinder (31) and thus forming a hermetic space with the cylinder (31), and journal portions prolonged at centers of the covering portions (32a, 33a) for supporting the rotational shaft (20), wherein at least one journal portion (32b, 33b) has a non-contact portion which is not contacted with a circumference surface the rotational shaft (20). |
