PURPOSE: A remote vehicle starter having an immobilizer unit is provided to improve security by starting an engine only when a code registered in a remote starter unit is identified with a code registered in an immobilizer. CONSTITUTION: A remote vehicle starter comprises an ignition key(1) embedding a transponder(11) memorizing a special code representing a regular key, a key cylinder(2) and an antenna(12), an engine control unit(5) starting an engine with response to an enabling signal outputted from an immobilizer(4) when a specific condition is satisfied, and a remote starting unit(6) receiving a remote start signal with an antenna(7) through another antenna(9) when a start switch(81) is pressed.
