Towing mechanism for industrial vehicles applicable to the fifth wheel of tractor trucks which consists of a main frame (1) on the lower part of which is mounted the kingpin (2) which is coupled on the fifth wheel of a tractor truck (3), and on which, operated by means of hydraulic cylinders, tilts the vertical frame (5) which in turn serves as support for the supporting frame (7) of the towed vehicle, also articulated and likewise operated by hydraulic cylinders. The vehicle support frame has two extendable telescopic arms (8), operated by hydraulic cylinders, which are slid under the broken down or damaged vehicle (10) in order to raise it and permit it to be towed. On the upper end of the vertical frame a winch (11) is mounted, for auxiliary tasks of pulling and initial approximation of the broken down vehicle. <IMAGE>
