OPTICAL PICKUP DEVICE HAVING SHOCK ABSORBING MEMBER AND DISK DRIVE WHERE OPTICAL PICKUP DEVICE IS ADOPTED

PURPOSE: A disk drive where an optical pickup device is adopted is provided to enable a shock absorbing member to absorb shock which an optical pickup device receives from a main base, while the disk drive moves along guide shafts, thereby preventing a pickup base from being damaged. CONSTITUTION: A hook(124) and holes(125) are installed on the first and second guide shafts(131,132) in order that a pickup base(121) can slide down along the first and second guide shafts(131,132). A lead screw(140) having spiral grooves(141) is installed in parallel with the second guide shaft(132), and transfers the pickup base(121) by being rotated by a driving motor(150). A shock absorbing member(160) is attached to a part directly contacted with an inner side of a main base which is contacted with both sides of the second guide shaft(132).
