PURPOSE: A method of making livestock feed by inoculating fermented liquid of plants into rice bran and fermenting, adding additives to the fermented rice bran and then mixing the obtained feed material with rice straw is provided. The feed is excellent in antibacterial properties and nutrients, generates livestock excrement without offensive odor when fed to livestock and improves growth performance in livestock and reduces the cost of production. CONSTITUTION: The livestock feed is prepared by the following process consisting of: preparing fermented liquid of plants containing wormwood, dropwort, carrot, Pueraria lobata, Ixeris dentata, Angelicae Gigantis Radix and dark brown sugar at the same ratio; inoculating the fermented liquid into rice bran and fermenting; preparing feed material by adding additives to the fermented rice bran; and then mixing 10 to 60 parts by weight of rice straw with 100 parts by weight of the feed material. The additives are selected from: one or more of garlic stems, ginger stems and onion stems; one or more agricultural by-products of rice bran, soybean meal and bean pods; one or more of fish by-products and food wastes; fermented green-kerneled rice; and one or more of garlic, ginger and onion.
