<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the user to browse image information by sending an incoming notice mail for the notice of link information to acquire stored image information with an HTTP client function to a destination terminal of a network address. SOLUTION: A network facsimile equipment FX informs the user of a distribution destination of a fact of receiving image information and sends an electronic mail (incoming notice mail) for reception notice to notify link information denoting a storage destination of received image information. The user receiving the incoming notice mail browse the received electronic mail by using an electronic mail browsing software of work stations WWS1-WSn used by the user. Thus, the electronic mail browsing software acquires required image information according to the link information from the network facsimile equipment FX, displays contents on a screen and then the user can confirm contents of a facsimile document addressed to itself.</p> |
