A plurality of tool pots 19 are detachably holed by a circular ring tool magazine 21. once the tool pot 19 receiving a tool to be changed is positioned at a predetermined position 39, the tool pot 19 is rotated 90 degrees to the inside of the tool magazine 21 so that the axis of the tool to be changed is parallel to the spindle 7. The tools are changed through liner motion and rotational motion of a tool changing arm.
