PURPOSE: A coating pin, a scratch unit, and an apparatus for repairing an image display panel with at least one of these are provided to achieve a coating pin having a structure which does not get a phosphor on the undesirable region when repairing the shortage part of the phosphor. CONSTITUTION: A coating pin includes an end portion having a concave part for receiving a phosphor and side walls spaced apart from each other along the sides of the concave part and supporting the phosphor. An apparatus for repairing an image display panel comprises an inspecting unit(150) for inspecting a coating status of phosphor, a coating unit having the coating pin and a first elevating unit for elevating the coating pin, a container(161) for accommodating the phosphor, an arranging unit(160) for arranging the container and the coating pin in vertical direction, and a horizontal transfer unit for horizontally transferring the image display panel to the inspecting unit and the coating unit.
