PURPOSE: A polymer film for hologram duplication and a preparation method thereof are provided, which forms hologram receptive layer that is easy to emboss hologram shape. CONSTITUTION: A polymer film for hologram duplication comprises: (i) uniaxially or biaxially orientated polymer base layer which is selected from the group of polyester film, cellulose tri-acetate film, polyimide film, polycarbonate film, and polysulfon film; (ii) hologram receptive layer comprising moisture acid polyester which is obtained from poly-condensation of di-methyl terephthalate, dimethyl sulfoisophthalate sodium salt, ethylene glycol, and melamine derivative. The content of dimethyl sulfoisophthalate sodium salt is 15-25 mol.% on the basis of dimethyl terephthalate content. The content of melamine derivative is 5-10 mol.% on the basis of ethylene glycol content.
