摘要 PURPOSE: A tandem typed laser scanning unit of an image forming device is provided to process image formation while reducing a height of a polygon mirror even if a multi-laser beam generated from laser diodes is used. CONSTITUTION: The laser diodes(11) make the first step value between an output point of the laser beam and a perpendicular line of the polygon mirror(14) passing a center of the polygon mirror larger than the second step value between an incident point of the laser beam on the polygon mirror and the perpendicular line of the polygon mirror passing a center of the polygon mirror by being arranged to the polygon mirror. A bow distortion corrector, which is a cylinder mirror(17), corrects the bow distortion caused by an arrangement structure of the laser diodes for the polygon mirror. The bow distortion corrector is placed between a beam path of the polygon mirror and a photosensitive drum(9), and includes a cylinder mirror(17).
