METHOD FOR SELECTIVELY REPRODUCING AUDIO FILE HAVING DIRECTORY STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A method for selectively reproducing an audio file having a directory structure is provided to generate a multi-level directory menu screen, and to automatically read/reproduce the first MP3 file included in a sub directory of the lowest level designated by a user, so that the user can simply select desired directories. CONSTITUTION: A system reads navigation information related to a directory structure from a recording medium where plural audio data files having the directory structure are recorded(Step1). The system generates/displays a multi-level directory menu screen such that a user can sequentially select desired directories, in reference to the read navigation information(Step2). The system reads/reproduces an audio data file included in a sub directory of the lowest level selected through the displayed directory menu screen(Step3).
