PURPOSE: An automatic recording system using a keyword is provided to set a keyword to be recorded, in order to input the set keyword, and to compare/retrieve the keyword with keyword information supplied from a broadcasting station, then to automatically record a broadcasting program relative to the keyword, thereby recording a desired part only or entire parts of the program. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting receiver(100) receives automatic recording software for supplying a broadcasting stream, broadcasting keyword information, and an automatic recording function using the keyword information. A stream processor(110) processes the broadcasting stream. A memory(120) stores the automatic recording software and a keyword designated by a user. A storage medium(130) stores a broadcasting program to be recorded by the user. A controller(150) performs the automatic recording function by executing the automatic recording software. |
