METHOD FOR LIMITING SEEING AND HEARING OF DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A method for limiting seeing and hearing of display device is provided to compare a set parental lock information function with rank information of programs, and to change an improper voice signal in AV broadcasting signals when broadcasting a program, thereby supplying proper broadcasting programs according to a user's age. CONSTITUTION: A display device waits for rank information on a broadcasting program from an AV broadcasting stream(S100). The display device receives TV program limiting rank information of the AV broadcasting program(S110). It is determined whether a parental lock information set by a user is equal to the TV program limiting rank information(S120). If so, a voice signal is broadcasted without limiting the program(S140).
