PURPOSE: A signal transmission apparatus is provided to check causes of communication error in each of halls, by using platform buttons for hall call and display unit for displaying hall call registration state. CONSTITUTION: A signal transmission apparatus comprises a control board(100) for allocating an elevator car of optimum condition when a platform hall call signal is input; a hall host(200) for communication of hall call signal or state signal between the control board and hall side; platform buttons(400a to 400-n) for inputting a hall call registration signal, mode conversion signal, or data; hall stations(300 to 300-n) for transmitting the hall call registration signal, mode conversion signal, or data input by the platform buttons to the hall host, or receiving signals from the hall host and outputting a control signal for displaying state in accordance with the received signals; and a display unit(500a) for displaying hall call registration information in accordance with the control signal output from the hall station, or error data signals.
