FIELD: material cutting, namely built-up cutting tool having changeable cutting head and stem. ^ SUBSTANCE: changeable cutting head for coaxial joining along axis of tool stem joint with possibility of self-clamping includes cutting portion at least with one cutting edge near front end of cutting head and mounting assembly arranged between cutting portion and rear end of cutting head and having centering section with peripheral centering surface arranged around said axis and being, mainly in the form of cone at least in two portions diverging along said axis towards wide end of said peripheral centering surface; fixing section having at least two mutually spaced elongated along periphery fixing surfaces for providing axial bearing of cutting head in stem of tool. In order to enhance reliability of joining, each fixing section is inclined relative to said axis in such a way that distance from it until wide end of peripheral centering surface increases in direction corresponding, mainly to direction of cutting efforts acting upon said cutting edge during cutting procedure. Fixing or centering section includes at least two peripheral spaced one from another fixing members having respective fixing surfaces or portions of centering surface. ^ EFFECT: improved design, enhanced reliability of joint. ^ 15 cl, 9 dwg |
