FIELD: railway transport; [permanent way maintenance and repair. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed for tamping ballast under ties of rails. Proposed tamping tool has body with blade furnished with hard-alloy plates in lower part of front surface. The rest of all or part of working surfaces of blade are furnished with discretely mounted hard-alloy members. Said members are made in form of bars, rolls and/or pins. Wearable surface of body is also furnished with discretely arranged hard-alloy members. ^ EFFECT: reduced consumption of hard alloy without effecting service life of tamping tool. ^ 3 cl, 8 dwg |
