FIELD: plastic metal working, namely production of bent rolled shapes. ^ SUBSTANCE: method for bending channel bar in plane of its web comprises steps of reducing one of its flanges in two-roll grooved pass and simultaneously inclining said flange by angle relative to horizon and releasing reduction (in rolls) of other flange and web; setting value of above mentioned angle depending upon parameters of bar.
