FIELD: transport engineering; timber and wood-working industries. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for transportation and sorting of timber. Proposed longitudinal conveyor contains guides, traction member, crossmembers in form of bases with fitted-on turnable levers coupled with bases by flexible members and mounted on traction member being provided with locks, and drive knockout mechanisms. Locks of each turnable lever are made in form of two interacting disconnectable permanent magnets, upper one being rigidly connected to turnable lever, and lower one being mounted on slider located below and spring-loaded to base. Slider is provided with shank in zone of action of drive knockout mechanisms. Making of locks in form of two interacting disconnectable permanent magnets of which upper one is rigidly secured on turnable lever and lower one is mounted on slider under turnable lever provides noncontact interaction of surfaces of turnable levers with locks which precludes wear of surfaces providing knocking out and improves reliability in operation. Making of slides spring-loaded to base provides return of slider with magnet into initial position after knocking out of log, and provision of shank in zone of action of drive knockout mechanisms provides serviceability of conveyor. ^ EFFECT: improved reliability n operation. ^ 3 dwg |
