FIELD: agriculture, in particular, methods for cultivation of oil crops, such as safflower, for seed or silage production. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves providing deep basic soil cultivation; presowing surface cultivation; early winter sowing; early spring preemergence harrowing; postemergence interrow cultivation and harvesting of cereal part of plants for seeds. Before initial stage of flowering phase, plants are treated with natural bischofite mineral solution at density of 1.25-1.35 t/m3 of MgCl x 6H2O formulation at the rate of 150-250 l/hectare. After formation of safflower head, plants are repeatedly treated with bischofite solution at consumption rate of 450-600 l/hectare. Method allows safflower seed yield of 1.25-1.35 t/hectare and oil content of at least 50% to be reached. ^ EFFECT: increased yield and improved quality of safflower seeds, provision for stabilized safflower seed yields and increased oil content. ^ 2 tbl |
