PURPOSE: A smoke refiner is provided to refine a smoke generated when burning a moxa cautery or a cigarette, thereby preventing a user and one next to him from displeasing. CONSTITUTION: The smoke refiner comprises a grinded seed of an apricot tree. A preparation method of a moxa cautery or cigarette containing the smoke refiner comprises adding the grinded seed of an apricot tree. The smoke refiner acclimates the sharp scent of the smoke generated when burning a moxa cautery or a cigarette, and so prevents a cigarette or moxa cautery-user and a person surrounding the user from displeasing by the sharp scent and making the scent permeate the place slightly.
