PURPOSE: A deodorizing system for a refrigerator is provided to obtain continuous deodorizing effect by advancing air containing bad odor toward a deodorizer by driving a deodorizing fan. CONSTITUTION: A deodorizing system for a refrigerator includes a plurality of light sensors, a deodorizing fan, and an ozone generator. Each of the light sensors includes a plurality of light emitting parts(11) on an inner surface of a rear part of the refrigerator and a plurality of light receiving parts on the inside of a door. The sensors sense the existence of food in the refrigerator to generate signals. The deodorizing fan is mounted in a feedback duct to forcibly circulate internal air of the refrigerator for deodorizing according to the signals output from the sensors. The ozone generator generates ozone to oxidize bad odor components generated from the food in the refrigerator.
