PURPOSE: A connecting rod assembly for a vehicle compressor is provided to improve the productivity and to reduce the manufacturing cost of a connecting rod by removing a sleeve from a large diameter part of the connecting rod. CONSTITUTION: A connecting rod(40) is combined with a crank shaft for making a piston reciprocate to compress a refrigerant. The connecting rod is formed of a small diameter part(41) for fixing the piston, and a large diameter part(42) combined with the crank shaft, wherein the small diameter part and the large diameter part are connected with each other by a rod(43). The large diameter part is formed of an upper large diameter part(46) and a lower large diameter part(47) assembled by bolts(48), forming semi-circular receiving grooves(44,45) for easily receiving the crank shaft. The receiving grooves are directly combined with the crank shaft without a sleeve interposed to reduce friction. Oil scattered from an oil hole(49) formed at the crank shaft is supplied to the receiving grooves to reduce friction between the crank shaft and the receiving grooves.
