PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for supplying process liquid in a machine tool is provided to reduce the power necessary for the supply of the process liquid. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for supplying process liquid in a machine tool is composed of a main tank(19) for storing the process liquid, a sub tank installed above a workpiece clamping unit(2), a pump(21) for supplying process liquid in the main tank to the sub tank, and a liquid passage(22). The liquid passage discharges the process liquid in the sub tank into a workpiece(w) or the workpiece clamping unit.
