VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT ROTARY COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: A variable displacement rotary compressor is provided to easily vary compressing capability of a compressor by controlling an actual internal volume of the compressing chamber. CONSTITUTION: A housing has a circular compressing chamber(32) inside. A ring piston(36) eccentrically rotates in the compressing chamber in a state of contacting with an inner surface of the compressing chamber. A first vane(40) partitions off the inside of the compressing chamber, advancing and retreating in a state of contacting with an external surface of the ring piston. A suction port(37) and a first discharge port(38) are formed at both side of the first vane to be communicated with the compressing chamber. A second vane(50) for variable displacement is movably installed in the housing to partition off the inside of the compressing chamber at a position separated from the first vane. A second discharge port(71) for variable displacement is formed adjacent to the second vane to be communicated with the compressing chamber. A control device(60) controls to stop or operate the second vane.
