SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPTIMIZING ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF INDUSTRIAL FURNACE

PURPOSE: A system and a method for optimizing energy consumption of an industrial furnace are provided to optimize the power consumption by distributing efficiently the amount of electric power. CONSTITUTION: A system for optimizing energy consumption of an industrial furnace includes a current detector, a current limiter, an A/D converter, and a main controller. The current detector(10) is used for reducing the current applied to a power line of the industrial furnace to a predetermined level. The current limiter(40) is connected to a plurality of heaters to limit the current according to current control signals for the heaters. The A/D converter(20) is used for converting the reduced intensity of the current to a digital signal. The main controller(30) is used for comparing a total power value with a total object power value and generating a current control signal according to a compared result and the control priority.
