PURPOSE: A method for supporting an online community is provided to function as a catalyst for the activation of the community by financially supporting the community as partially sharing a present use rate. CONSTITUTION: The use rate is collected by the current method for collecting the use rate. The money for supporting the community is set within the collected amount. A user expresses a support intention depending on user's will. The support intention expression includes that the user fixes a support ratio of all expenses supported from the user to each community. The financial support is given to the community through a procedure for expressing the support intention. The community fixes subscription, secession, and a use authority depending on the support amount.
