The bottle turner consists of a support (1) for a palletcrate (5) containing boxes holding bottles of wine stacked in parallel rows lying in the same direction. It has a drive motor (30) with a rotary screw (3) and nut (20) to apply a reciprocating pivoting motion to the crate that moves the bottles step by step from a horizontal to a vertical position and back. The movement is transmitted from the screw through the nut to a lever (2) with an arm (21) supporting the crate.
