PURPOSE: A lens meter is provided to prevent interference between a dotting member and a lens pressing member for mounting an adsorption cup by arranging the lens pressing member outside a range 25 enclosed by an external shape of the dotting member. CONSTITUTION: A lens meter includes a lens nesting part(5), a lens pressing member(16), a measuring optical system, and a dotting member(8). The lens nesting part(5) mounts a spectacle lens thereon. The lens pressing member(16) presses the mounted lens with respect to the lens nesting part(5). The measuring optical system measures refracting power of the mounted lens. The dotting member(8) performs dotting with respect to a refracting surface. The lens pressing part(16) are arranged outside a range 25 enclosed by an external shape of the dotting member and the external shape of the adsorption cup on the refracting surface of the spectacle lens.
