PURPOSE: An apparatus for diagnosing safety of an upper plate of a bridge using a wire is provided to detect a problem of the upper plate of the bridge and cope with the problem by using an alarm that a value of a sag of the upper plate of the bridge exceeds a predetermined displacement. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for diagnosing safety of an upper plate of a bridge installs a displacement measuring wire(320) by fixing three wire installation holes at the upper plate(100) of the bridge(200). A fixing frame(330) is installed at the side wall of the upper plate(100) and the displacement measuring wire(320) is fixed to the fixing frame(330). A transmission antenna is attached to the fixing frame(330). When detecting that a value of a sag of an upper plate chamber of the bridge exceeds a predetermined displacement, an alarm(340) is operated.
