PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively prevent the fall of a long-sized material in conveyance with simple constitution in a hanging accessory for the long-sized material wherein a claw is horizontally turned by the rotation of an arm. SOLUTION: A lock pin 17 is mounted in an axially movable manner to a proximal part 2a of the arm 2 rotatably supported to each of arm support parts 1a at both ends of a lifting beam 1. An overhang plate 18 of the arm support part 1a is provided with a hole 19 with about the same diameter as the lock pin 17, and a vertically movable plate 4 is mounted to a pipe placing face of the claw 3 provided at the lower end of the arm 2. A link mechanism 23 is provided for interlocking the plate 4 and the lock pin 17, and the arm 2 is rotated into a position where the lock pin 17 and the hole 19 of the overhang plate 18 face each other. When the long-sized material is placed on the claw 3, the lock pin 17 is inserted in the hole 19, interlocked with the descent of the plate 4 due to the own weight of the long-sized material to lock the rotation of the arm 2. Turning of the claw 3 during conveyance is thereby eliminated to prevent the fall of the long-sized material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
