PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent packing box, which can suppress bulge of the side faces of a packing box at a time of packing products, and can prevent a packed product from being exposed, when dropped in a packaged state, in a packing box for packing home appliances in general or the like. SOLUTION: The packing box 1 is equipped with opposite side faces 13, 14, the front face 11 and the back face 15 enclosing in a state rising from the bottom face 12, and with a top face 16 which extends from the back face 15 and closes the open top part openably/closably. Swelling preventive means 21 to 24 preventing the bulge of the side faces 13, 14 and the back face 15 are provided at least between the side faces 13, 14 and the back face 15.
