PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine raising an interest of a player by effectively using an operation part operated diversely and providing a change in a game according to operation modes of the operation part. SOLUTION: This game machine having the operation part 53 operated by a player is provided with operation mode detecting means 301 and 302 detecting operation modes of the operation part 53 and produces game states according to the detection results of the operation mode detection modes 301 and 302. The operation mode detection means 301 and 302 may detect the operating direction of the operation part as an operation mode. The operation part 53 may have an external appearance asymmetric in the operating direction.
