The present invention provides a liquid impervious and pathogen impervious laminate comprising a breathable layer comprising an antistatic agent and a fibrous layer on the breathable layer. Preferably, the fibrous layer includes a thermally activated adhesive material that is used to bond the fibrous layer and the breathable layer together.
