The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein: W and X are each independently oxygen or sulfur; A is nitrogen, CH, C-CN, or C-(C1-3 aliphatic); and R1 and R2 are taken together to form a ring. These compounds are useful as inhibitors or JAK kinases, particularly for the treatment of a n autoimmune disease, a neurodegenerative disorder, or a hematologic malignanc y.
