<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device having improved reliability while suppressing the degradation of a load torque limiting value when shutting off the transmission of power to a compressor. <P>SOLUTION: The leaf spring 12 has one end connected to a drive plate 5 fixed to a pulley 4 rotatably supported on a boss portion 2 of a housing 1 of the compressor and the other end connected to a hub 10 fixed to the end of a rotating shaft 7 of the compressor.
