<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system not wastefully consuming fuel gas, efficiently preventing the cooling of a combustion device and generation of condensed water, capable of surely igniting the combustion device. <P>SOLUTION: A cathode exhaust gas bypass channel 10 making the cathode exhaust gas from a fuel cell stack 1 bypass the combustion device 9 is installed. When an anode exhaust gas is not supplied from the fuel cell stack 1 to the combustion device 9, the cathode exhaust gas is made to bypass the combustion device 9 through the cathode exhaust gas bypass channel 10, and when the anode exhaust gas is supplied to the combustion device 9, the cathode exhaust gas is supplied to the combustion device 9 with proper flow rate and timing in compliance with the state quantity thereof to supply the cathode exhaust gas to the combustion device 9 with the proper flow rate and timing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
