<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar light source device, a liquid crystal display device and a display device with high efficiency in use of light. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is provided with an LED1, a light guide plate 2 for guiding the light from the LED1 to the whole surface, a light guide plate 8 for mixed colors which is provided in a bottom part of the light guide plate 2 and emitting light made incident on an incident plane from LED1 to an emitting plane and a reflector 3 reflecting the light emitted from the light guide plate for mixed colors 8 to the light guide plate 2. Moreover, an aluminum frame 9 installed below the light guide plate 8 for mixed colors, an air layer 12 installed in between the aluminum frame 9 and the light guide plate for mixed colors and a reflecting sheet 5 installed in between the light guide plate 2 and the aluminum frame 9 are provided.
