ASSEMBLING METHOD FOR OBLIQUELY STRETCHED CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a obliquely stretched cable whose cross sectional area is small with respect to the number of strand members.

SOLUTION: The obliquely stretched cable includes an inclined casing 5 and a group of substantially parallel strand members 4 received in the casing 5 and fixed individually in a first fixed area 16a and a second fixed area 16b. The obliquely stretched cable is installed by giving substantially uniform tensile forces to the strand members 4. The assembling of the obliquely stretched cables is carried out by repeating a plurality of times a step to tighten the installed strand members 4 at at least one end of the casing 5, a step to slide strand members 1 of the other group along the inner side of the casing 5 within a space left available by tightening the strand members 4 and a step to stretch each strand members 4 of the other group so that tension force values of all strand members 4 installed between the first fixed area 16a and the second fixed area 16b become substantially uniform.
